WHORLS

The curling grace of the tiny tendrils on my sugar snap pea plants are a source of endless inspiration. In this series, they are separated from the plant and reduced to lines that often fade away due to my use of a shallow depth of field. The tendrils are placed on a reflective surface to create intersecting lines which seem to transform the original. The lines embody the grace and connectedness of life, and the reflected lines are transformations that create new and unique lines that are similar to the original, yet different.
